> An atheist artist’s attempt to modernize religion - its rituals and iconographies - with a sense of humour, often pushing boundaries in the process. These works are created with a view that religion and its archaic yet still prevalent rituals, doctrines, and figure heads are outdated and perhaps no longer necessary for their perceived humanitarian and altruistic benefits. With a satirical slant, these works will take on these icons and bring them face to face with pop culture. Creationism and evolution are explored, as well as an attempt to tackle the negative side effects of organised religion and blind faith.
